How long is the course duration?
Knowledge Modules: 430 hours (3 months)
Practical Modules: 430 hours (3 months)
Workplace Modules: 450 hours, to be completed over a 4-month period at your designated workplace. Workplace placement will begin in the 4th month of your studies. This placement is full-time and unpaid, and you are expected to treat it with the same dedication and commitment as you would a job.
We allocate an additional 2 months to help you prepare for the EISA exam. Please note that the EISA exam is held twice a year, in February and October. Depending on when you start your course, you will be scheduled to sit for the exam in the corresponding month.

First Aid Training – R900
This is a mandatory requirement for the workplace. If you do not currently hold a valid First Aid certificate, you will need to complete this training. The R900 fee covers the training and certification, ensuring you meet necessary workplace safety standards and are prepared for emergency situations. Meet Your Teaching Team
With over 11 years of experience in both formal ECD center's and private early learning settings. She holds a National N Diploma (N6) obtained in 2014 and an NQF Level 5 ECD qualification completed in 2023. Her experience includes 3 years as a Grade R teacher, 4 years in registered ECD center's, and 9 months as a teacher’s assistant, totaling over 7 years of formal ECD experience. She also spent 4 years providing private care, supporting children’s early learning and development in home-based environments. Her diverse background equips her to deliver QCTO-aligned training with practical insight, preparing students for real-world work with young children across a variety of settings.
I am currently advancing my studies in Educare, inspired by my daughter’s Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis. This journey has helped me understand her unique needs and ignited my passion for early childhood education.
